St. Joseph Catholic School updates web site…

We’ve been retained by St. Joseph Catholic School to update their concept and web presence. This is the latest in a string of web projects here at Mojoloco here lately, and we’re happy to throw our energies behind the Bruins. Our goal in this project is to establish some creative standards and standardized protocol for maintaining content. The folks at St. Joe have been wonderful to work with throughout the discovery process and we’re excited to get started…this will be a fun one!

Highland Village hires Mojoloco…

Highland Village, one of Jackson’s premier shopping destinations, has retained Mojoloco to overhaul their web site. We’re very excited to take on this project. From a brand perspective, one of Highland Village’s primary brand drivers is personality. The web is the perfect medium to convey this. In addition to the branding aspects of the project, there is a real opportunity to upgrade functionality and provide a feature-rich CMS that allows the on-site management team control over the content. This project should be a true win-win, and we’re looking forward to a long and successful relationship with Highland Village.

Mojoloco to build identity for Mac & Bones…

Mac & Bones is a new family destination in Jackson featuring ribs, mac & cheese, barbecue nachos, mini-golf, and much more. The restaurant is targeting kids, tweens, and teens. The USPMGA (US Professional Mini-Golf Association) is endorsing the mini-golf facility, which promises to be second to none. The restaurant will also have a sports twist, with endorsements here in Jackson by Deuce McAllister and Tracy McGrady. Mac & Bones is opening for business in mid-April in Pearl with a second location this summer in Orlando, Florida. The company plans to offer franchise opportunities within the year.

Mojoloco has been retained by Mac & Bones to build the corporate identity. We’ll be creating the corporate and franchise logo marks, as well as developing slogans and the corporate identity policy. We’re excited to be working with the Mac & Bones team and look forward to more opportunities with them as the year progresses.

Mojoloco takes creative lead for Sante South Wine Festival…

Mojoloco has agreed to provide creative due diligence for the 2009 Sante South Wine Festival in April, an annual event for the Mississippi chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. This will be the event’s 5th year, and all signs point to a larger turnout. Last year over 30 vintners from vineyards across the globe attended, along with the finest restaurants in the state. Sante South will again be held at Highland Village, with double the space reserved over last year. Mojoloco will be providing all creative assets for the event. We’re excited to be working with Ian MacDonald of the Alzheiner’s Association, and we look forward to another successful event.

New youth baseball league gears up for launch…

Mojoloco has been retained by Flowood-based Performance Sports Academy to assist in the launch of a new youth baseball league, BPA South. Billed as a quality and dynamic alternative to USSSA, BPA South will kick off with 4 tournaments this spring and summer. Mojoloco will spearhead the branding for the new association and the launch events.

This is the kind of job we at Mojoloco can get very excited about. BPA is a good product that’s back by a good company in PSA. It’s a recipe for success, and we’re thrilled to be a part of the action. Look for the BPA South launch event to take place in mid-April at the Flowood YMCA baseball fields.

PFE30 in performance-based push…

We’ve had the joy of working with PFE30 for almost a year and we’re excited to announce that the company is launching its first performance-based campaign. PFE30 is officially the first Mojoloco client to begin this push towards new marketing tactics and performance-based media. The company will begin its campaign through Google AdWords, and will target a very precise local area- Brandon, Ridgeland, and Madison. PFE30 offers a premium product, and early reseaerch indicates that the company should do well with this approach. It’s an excellent way to increase transparency and maximize ad dollars during difficult economic times. We at Mojoloco are excited about this opportunity with PFE30 and vendor Burns Smith at WSI.

Mojoloco offers performance-based model…

Mojoloco is rolling out a performance-based operating model for qualified prospects and clients. The traditional agency/client relationship is based on billable time. The problem is that agency must provide due diligence while remaining under budget- this is often very difficult. In many cases, either the agency or the client must sacrifice without reward. As a new alternative, Mojoloco is offering a performance-based relationship wherein the agency is paid for results rather time. This option will be available for certain tactics and to businesses with a recurring, residual, or high-margin revenue model. For more information, contact the company.

Mojoloco provides Web 2.0 guidance…

Mojoloco welcomes two new clients to our family- Soccer Seen, Inc. and ShowMyGame.com. Soccer Seen, Inc. is building a social networking platform for soccer clubs that will include tournament bracketing, club management, team and player profiles, and promotional tools. Mojoloco will be drafting a positioning strategy for the company in addition to providing brand management and consulting. ShowMyGame.com has already built a successful web site that allows athletes to upload video clips of themselves doing what they do best. Mojoloco will be tasked with refining the brand, developing vertical markets, and creating new revenue streams. Both companies are excellent examples of the Web 2.0 model, and we’re excited to be part of their growth!
